Pulled pork is one of my favorite meals and versatile.  This recipe will make a tender shredded pork that you can use in BBQ pulled pork or Carnitas.  It's nice to have left overs that you can do different things with.



  1. Add chicken broth and lime juice to crock pot.
  2. Mix dry spices together and coat meat completely.
  3. Add pork to crock pot.
  4. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or until meat is falling apart.
  5. Shred meat and put under broiler to crisp just the tops for carnitas. Then serve with a warmed corn tortillas, chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime.
  6. Or add your favorite BBQ sauce and sandwich roll for pulled pork sandwiches.
